Connected terminals in South America

The tank terminals located in South America are partially owned by affiliated entities and are headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Whenever feasible, shipping and storage services are promoted from common offices, enabling logistical solutions that meet the extensive needs of our clients.

  • Locations: Brazil, Argentina, Chile & Peru
  • 552,740 cbm total storage capacity
  • 455 tanks in total

The first terminal became operational in Buenos Aires in 2007. Today this South American terminal network consists of 13 terminals spread along the coasts and inland of Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru, with a strong market position for storage of chemicals and clean petroleum products in the region.

The extensive terminal activities in South America provide an excellent complement to Chrimi Shipping Ltd ’s frequent and traditionally strong shipping activities within the region.

There are eight terminals situated in Brazil, specifically in Sao Luis (two), Teresina, Palmas, Santos, Ladario, Rio Grande, and Triunfo. Argentina hosts two tank terminals, one in Buenos Aires and another in Campana, approximately 80 kilometers upstream from Buenos Aires. The tank terminals in Chile are found in San Antonio and Mejillones, while Peru has one located in the Port of Callao. Additionally, in Rio Grande, Chrimi Shipping Ltd operates and oversees a terminal for a prominent petrochemical company.

Multiple expansions and projects are in the pipeline, with construction currently ongoing in Santos (Alemoa) for a new terminal featuring 17 tanks and a total storage capacity of 51,910 cubic meters.
